I feel bad for parents in these things. Here's the mother of Kyle Rittenhouse. She's grasping to blame anyone but her son. Despite some simple facts: he illegally bought an AR-15 and took it to a violent area to act out his teenage savior fantasy. He killed a couple people and is claiming it was self defense. One of those guys he killed hit him with a skateboard. Kyle murdered him.

“The police should have helped the businesses out instead of having a 17-year-old kid helping them.”

She blames the protestors. She blames the police.

She shows no sympathy for the other families, as if everyone else is partially to blame except her son.

“No one should have been there,” she said. “The protesters should not have been there, also... It’s a tragedy what happened to Mr. Blake. It is, but my son and everybody else should not have been in Kenosha.”

And she makes a point of defending gun ownership, and mlists some types of guns that she thinks are worth owning. Handguns, 12-guages, AR-15s of course.

Fucking crazy how people are about guns.

Just think about this: She is blaming PEOPLE for going to or being in Kenosha while she does NOT see blame in those very same people bringing guns (to the event which she blames them for going to.)

It's crazy. I'm sure she's under a lot of stress, but the lack of accountability is astonishing.

    • These gun-rights people are the real cult. WTF

    • not just bad parenting. It’s insanity. “But he took his gun to help” is their argument despite the cold truth that he helped NO ONE. He made it much worse.
