I think the problem with America, as seen from my outside perspective, is that americans are so full of themselves, they are fed so much patriotic shit that they actually believe they are the only free people in the world and everything outside their borders is 3rd world poor people trying to get in and wanting to have what they have.
Then the immigrants that do get there, coming from real 3rd world countries (like some QBNrs) are marvelled at the complete opposite of what they had and advocate for that lunacy because yes, it's much better than the fucked up nations they came from (Dicatorships disguised as socialism, disregarding that many were fucked up by the US in the first place). As Bruno Maçães puts it, America is living in a fantasy, it's become an entertainment show, a living fiction. Looks like season 2 is about to start.- True. But I also think it's the 24/7 news cycle and right vs left shock jock bullshit that Fox News popularised.inteliboy
