  sorry - this topic is on the front page, election in a few days...

  I am not trying to be one of those 'I don't see color' people...which is dumb...but...I don't get identifying so much with the color of my skin that I will organize and vote for people who agree and even kill people over it. Make secret hand signals. Join secret groups.

  It is not even a philosophy of anything. It is just....white....good..

  I just don't understand identifying with it that much that it becomes the dominant force in my life. I have a really hard time getting that concept.

  I have lived long enough to know that people are either smart or dumb or nice or mean or criminals or not based on who they are, not their skin.

  And not understanding that what makes America great is absorbing all kinds of people and having them contribute to our society?

  I just don't get it.
