Looks like it's going to be a solitary Christmas this year. I'd intended to go to my mum's house in eastern Canada to do Christmas with with her and my sister, but the entry rules in Canada make it prohibitive.
I'd have to quarantine for 14 days, and not in a place where there's someone in the high-risk group. My 72-year-old mum is defnitely in that group.
I'll have to talk to her and my sister about this, but I'm really not keen on possibly inadvertently passing this shitty pestilence on to her. Who knows if I wouldn't pick it up on the plane, in an airport, or wherever.
Sigh. Fuck you up the ass with no lube, 2020.
