If you use InDesign for anything serious you'll be disappointed. I really wanted Publisher to replace it for the price.

You might suspect it's not as good as InDesign because every single comparison list has "cost" as the top reason to get Publisher.

    • Totally depends what you do though. If you're a light InD user, it will probably suffice.nb
    • i design books so indesign is pretty importantcolin_s
    • I haven't given Publisher a spin, but it's super new so no surprise it is lacking. ID is really deep for those that need it.evilpeacock
    • Publisher is still missing some of the functionality and easy shortcuts of InDesign, and combined with the unfamiliar UI/workflow it's an obstacle.i_monk
