  i've always sort of merged the two as i prefer to make art but publications are my favorite medium, so i work in the constructs of graphic design to make books/magazines that are solely explorations into personal expression.

  i think there's a pretty sizeable overlap these days, especially as "content making" becomes a career target in the us.
