Here's my Apple TV user experience with linked Home Computer movies and TV shows accessed from my Apple TV 4k after coming back to a show I watched last night on season 8 episode 5
Menu (to turn on) > Select (Home Computer) > Slide right (on remote touch pad) > TV Shows > Slide down and right (for specific show I'm selecting > Select > (Now on show main screen) Seasons > Slide right to desired season > Select > (Now on season main screen) Play Episode 5
Why on earth is there no way to just resume where I left off?
Also, once I finish an episode and credits finish rolling there's no automatic skip to the next episode and no 'Next' button on the controller (there is one from the keyboard when watching Apple TV on the mac by pressing command + >). So, I have to Menu out, and hope the button has cued the next show in the list or Slide down, Slide right, and Select the next episode.
Why? Please tell me I'm missing something here
- Why are you using it to stream from a home computer? All the stuff you want works if you stream from a service.monospaced
- Because I have some shows on my computer that aren't on Netflix. Shouldn't the question be why the Home Computer app doesn't work as expected?SteveJobs
