Regarding that "D" cut...
Did this last year, don't even know if it's 100% proper, created in Affinity, these kind of icons are a pain to design!

Freehand was good tho' rip******** - I had a create an "O' affinity logo last year...what a pain in the ass. And then the client ended up selecting another logo.utopian
