i have no clue why economic attacks haven't become common yet. like, the ability to mass mobilize would be better used by making the stock market unpredictable - instead of marches in teh streets, everyone shift their spending habits one day to the next.
it's the type of practice that would take a minute to mobilize and coordinate but in all actuality, black bloc "antifa" stuff is decades old and it's really just those late to the party who are discovering those tactics - mostly the leftist anarchist routine as it stands plays into the hand of those who understand the ebb and flow of retaliation against power
economics is where the point of fracture is at and coordinated attacks on consumerism would be exactly how to take back some power, but it just seems everyone is still focused on what happens in front of a camera that... i don't know, i am not sure what it takes to move protest to the level where it can actually do some damage but, it sorely needs to be done.
- 10-14 day general strikes, unionization at top tech companies, disruption of servant services (housecleaning and delivery)... i mean, there's leverage to be hadcolin_s
- at some point the anti-capitalist mantras will turn into complete economic shutdowns which will fuck up everything, which shouldn't be too far offcolin_s
- And the people not working? Do they get to eat? U do understand it's a symbiotic system? Hunger is a great spice of life********
- And do you understand the nature of community when people go on strike? Like, providing food and essentials for those without? Course you don't, prick.face_melter
- oh i do. but what community? are you thinking old one industry coal towns still a thing? to diverse and plenty of self interests of unemployed to take said jobs********
- unless you dont like scabs and think they're lesser people?********
- unions are power broker parasites that only serve own interests. and in most cases there's and there peoples. while tryign to harm non unions workers********
- where do u guys get your history education?********
- you do understand the entire idea of a union is to monopolize labor as a corporation would try to monopolize and industry for leverage********
- same utilize same principles they tell there people to fear...think people catch on by now********
- It's a great point colin_s and something I've thought about. Even if you could only mobilize a few percent of the country this could be very powerful.yuekit
- mobilize a few to coerce the many?... very democratic********
