Maybe i've posted this earlier in the thread...
When 9/11 happened I was building a game in Flash where you bowled a Haggis towards the NY skyline as if they were skittles and knocked them over. The twin towers were the front pin!
It was a game to promote a Scottish business expo that was to happen in NY.Got a 'ping' on MSN from an ex-colleague who had moved out to the US to work. He told me to check out the news. Then I watched the events unfold.....
Also went and had a word with the project manager to let them know that we should scrap the game!
It was really strange that watching the events online they didn't really sink in. And it wasnt until I was home that evening watching the events on TV that what happened sinked in.
