I remember it like it was yesterday. It was about 11pm Melbourne time on a Tuesday night. I was watching a football show (Talking Footy with Bruce McEvaney if anyone remembers) and they cit across to the shots from Manhattan. I'd been there not too long before...and I just couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Than as the events unfolded in full view...I just remember becoming physically sick...with my daughter only just having been born.
I stayed up all night glued to the TV...horrific scenes and utter despair.
