I wish I could go back in time and ask for an Amstrad for Christmas - it's hard for me to understand why I didn't at the time appreciate that it had clearly superior graphics to the Speccie and Commodore 64. Even the Commodore - I remember thinking the graphics were muddy compared to the gaudy hard RGB colour-clash clusterfuck that my Speccie clearly suffered.
