Didn't use gesso for the base, just drew straight onto the paper with the pencils, they're slightly waxy so the line work shows through the watercolour slightly.
The hair is gouache fo it would be solid with watercolour details on top.- Hah saw this on your Instagram and thought... grafician ain't gonna be happy :D excellent work man.kingsteven
