    I've had it in the past- a few relatively short (less than a week), relatively acute (racing heart beat, little sleep, no appetite) episodes, and a much longer but relatively less intense period of generalized anxiety.

    My method of dealing with it was/is pretty simple: acceptance. Tthat may sound flip, but I think that much anxiety involves trying to escape what is happening in the moment and setting up a negative feeback loop of "fear of fear" .

    also, it might be good to at least temporarily avoid caffeine and alcohol.
