    Yes. For years, I struggled with generalized anxiety disorder. Tara is right on - it was related to blood sugar issues for me. I've been off the (evil) medications now for a while and these things are making life wonderful again:

    1. prayer - good meditative prayer
    2. healthy eating - avoiding simple carbs and fatty stuff (turns to sugar)
    3. getting somewhat consistent excercise (usually on the tread mill).

    I'm still inconcistent with these, but moving towards being more disciplined. I have to be - no choice. I refuse to feel bad and be on the medicine anymore.
