^^^ The new line-up looks insane. But, outside of racing games, I'm basically over the PC for playing games.
I've been using the PC exclusively for probably the last 5-6 years. Which is to say: I don't have a latest gen Xbox or Playstation. Most big games have delayed PC releases, or are platform exclusive. Playstation is obviously dominating in the exclusives department.
And, when it finally releases on PC, the games are all fucked up. Read Dead II and Horizon Zero Dawn (I returned this) are perfect examples. Read dead was so buggy on release. They had a full year to test, and it was a disaster on day one.
So, I don't see the point any more. I can buy both new consoles when they drop, and still be under my cost for a PC. Hell, just my GPU cost as much as a console.
When the games run right, they're amazing. But the delays, never releasing on PC, and hassle with getting the settings right aren't worth the trouble.

- is VR not a potential draw for you on PC?
Gotta say, after seeing PS5/XBoxThing footage, I'd not disagree with you any more. Consoles are hella powerful.Nairn - Post-PC era bro; welcome to the next "next" gen.
: )ideaist - a lot of variables when it comes to PC gaming, ex this weekend I bought FallOut 4 VR for like $69 r sum, game was so slow it was unplayablemoldero
- might have to plugin my headset to my more powerful GPU, though for some reason HalfLife Alyx stutters on that GPUmoldero
- these are both Radeon GPU's, should have went Nvidia like my daughters rig i built her, she has no issuesmoldero

- "Ill trade you 2 video cards for 1"moldero
- Horizon is actually running ok now, after a couple of patches. Fairly solid 60fps with no stuttering. Night and day compared to the initial release.face_melter
- VR isn't really that appealing to me at this point. Just want to play cool games in my recliner.section_014

I'm building a new PC in '21.Nairn - For me - when it comes to gaming, I just like sitting at a desk to do it - FPS, RTS etc. I couldn't enjoy that slouched with a controller. Need to be TENSE.Nairn
