Thanks for the responses. At this work location I currently have Flash 5 and MX on a 800mhz P3 PC with 512 ram (was 256 and I could hardly run the program then) running XP.
Some of the files Im having problems with are sharing multiple symbols between libraries and using nested MCs and buttons. Some of the most simple stuff has been working so inconsistently. My main question I was having is if PC or network problems can cause Flash to behave strangely or is it the software itself. Thanks for the answers.
I only have Flash 5 on my mac at home but when I installed the MX2004 demo it was so slow it was worthless.
