    Pinterest canceled its lease for the San Francisco high-rise project 88 Bluxome, seen here in an artist's rendering. Citing coronavirus-inspired workforce changes, Pinterest will pay $89.5 million to cancel a lease on new San Francisco offices.

    “As we analyze how our workplace will change in a post-COVID world, we are specifically rethinking where future employees could be based,” said Todd Morgenfeld, head of business operations, in a company press release.
