Had a video game idea that I thought might be great or terrible (my mind constantly switching between the two). So I made a 17 page pdf in about four days while on vacation.
I then asked by email our company owner and our creative director about how one could pitch the idea, and if it was alright to do so. Sure thing send a pdf, they replied and so I did.
Had a meeting with the creative director the other day who was very positive and said this clearly would be a fun game mechanic and unlike anything he had seen before. He didn't really dig the world setting though, so now I'm making version 2.0 of the document.
Doubt it will ever be realised, but its been fun doing, and I think it kinda caught them off guard as I'm just a UI guy in the company :D

- Where you don't have any financial interest or stakeholder position. You're on the right path and it doesn't matter if you have to write a 4.0 version of that********

- I did weigh in the whole "I can get screwed over" but decided what the hell. I would have zero possibility to do it on my own.Nutter
