Can anyone please tell me how to adjust the width of columns?!
I have two columns in the Area Type and I used to be able to either hover with the pointer over the edge of the column and the pointer symbol would change and then I could drag to change the size or I would click the Cell Style button. Can't find anything by searching online and also nothing in my Adobe illustrator Manual..WTF?!
- Pick Area Type, click on the canvas, write something, go to the left of the area type in the corner, click on that little icon, expand the area type into a secografician
- second column and the type in the first area type will follow into the second column and you can resize the column from the middle-right sidegrafician
- Should be a little icon where I put the RED OVAL in this image https://i.imgur.com/…grafician

- Another method: draw a rectangle as a frame, go to Menu - Object - Path - Split into grid and pop-up will appear where you can set the columnsgrafician
- After you set your columns, pick the Area Type tool, click in the column, write, then adjust the column width as a rectangle widthgrafician

- wow! thanks a lot! it's a bit more complicated than before but it works. it feels like they downgraded it and we went back to use a work around.oey_oey
