Just disabled IPv6 on my network connection and everything loads SO much fucking faster! (Win10)
Anybody else experience this?
Any reason why I SHOULDN'T do this?- Tech support told me to do that last year and much better since. Something to do with all equipment on network not being friendly with ipv6Gnash
- But I have no technical insight to offerGnash
- yeah most of the times it's your local router what isn't handling well ipv6. the reason why you see things speeding up is because if its enabled and fucked some********
- where on the network it will fall back to ipv4 for things like dns queries.********
- yeah forever I would see "resolving host" waiting for stuff to load. NO MORE!sarahfailin
- disadvantage is with disabled ipv6 your isp can NAT your ip because of the limited number of IP addresses in the world (they put lots of clients behind 1 ip).********
