The really fascinating thing about Epstein and Maxwell being part of a kompromat operation with foreign governments behind it is, how long has it been functional and how much has it impacted US policy?

I tend to get behind this theory more than any other. There are so many weird holes, especially around how Epstein ascended to where he was without a college degree, and how he made so much money so quickly.

Like, is it a given to think that someone with blackmail material on powerful, rich people, can amass that kind of wealth through a simple "I know you had sex with teenage girls, and if you don't give me another $20 million, or if you don't do X Y or Z politically, I'm going to let the world know what you did?

At the same time, the other side of that coin is that Epstein, too, was doing plenty with underage girls. Maybe that was the grooming and coercion - lure them in, pay them, get them "addicted" to it, and use them against powerful men.

It will be incredible if we find out that, say, Trump being president, and his decisions, had a direct line to Epstein working with Russia and Putin and knowing what they had over him. Seems like something the Steele dossier might have covered?

It's tragic and gross that something so captivating involved some of the worst offenses humans can commit against other humans.
