25 frame-rate still standard in TV and also most of online videos.

Had to animate a car going from left to right in AE and the motion is so damn choppy, not even moblur helps.

It should be at least 30fps or 40-60.

If we already go to such high formats like 4K and higher why not start increasing fps too and finally have new higher formats and frame-rate to be standard instead of the shitty 1080p 25fps, it's 2020.

    • Can't you make an animation at any frame rate? and upload at any frame rate?fadein11
    • It's not about that. It's about how 25fps often looks outdated and choppy and not smooth enough.NBQ00
    • but that's also why many films are shot at 24 /25fps. It has a look that people like.formed
    • Yes movies for sure. But many times broadcast graphics & animations look choppy and outdated at 25fpsNBQ00

    • High framerates have a big affect on the perceived lighting, and most folks don't like it. it also has way less motion blur, whichrobotinc
    • doesn't hide sets/makeup/etc as well as lower framerates.robotinc
