All the innoculations work, in the short term. Spring 2021 and everyone rejoices as national industrial complexes the world over pump out billions upon billions of anti C19 kits, humanity is saved!
Except, C19 is a deep motherfucker, and some know it and have planned for this, and everyone injected has a countdown of less than a decade until their heart gives out. C19 was never an accident.
There will be a cure to the cure, but fuck me are you going to have to get into someone else's line to get it. You'll pay your way or work your way like the hopefully-useful serf you are. It'll be a temporary salve too. One in need of topping up.
Population ambition: 1.5Bn
Social distancing, contactless payments, self- and unit- isolation are all psycho-social constraint mechanisms to prepare for a new order, which most of us won't have a part in beyond our use toward The Great Transition.
