My friend's younger brother knew he might have COVID and still went to the river with his friends. He saw me there and invited me to come play his guitar while he rapped, poorly, next to me.
His test results came back positive for COVID, but I didn't hear about it until yesterday (a week after I saw him), and I heard about it incidentally from his sister my friend. The fucker hadn't told anyone that he had had it, and he had been passing joints around with his friends and stuff.
I got a slight cough and sore throat this week and decided to get tested, only to find that Kaiser didn't have any testing availability in my area for more than two weeks! I may be able to do a drive up clinic, but I have no car...
I've got beer and whiskey and I'm feeling mostly well, but I'm going to stay locked up in my apartment until next Thursday. Happy 4th.
