Trump 'not fit' for president, says John Bolton

John Bolton, 71, who accompanied Donald Trump on his first historic summit with the North Korean leader, said the president was more focused "on the photo shoot" with Kim Jong-un, rather than the consequences of this meeting in terms of diplomacy.

The publication of John Bolton's book, "The Room Where It Happened, A White House Memoir", and several extracts of which have already filtered, is scheduled to appear. Tuesday. But the White House has launched urgent legal action to try to block it.

Donald Trump vigorously rejected the explosive comments of his ex-national security adviser John Bolton on Thursday, including a very critical book on his nearly a year and a half experience at the White House to be published next week.

"John Bolton's book [...] is a compilation of lies and invented stories, all with the aim of making me appear in a bad light," the American president tweeted. “Many of the ridiculous statements he attributes to me have never existed, pure fiction. He's just trying to get his revenge because I fired him, like the sick man he is! "

    • Trump's quote lol.fadein11
    • Trump is the lying probably 80% of the time, he's not in a good place to call someone a liarBennn
    • Just 80%?! Make that 98% with the 2% being the scripted shit he really needs to communicate...
      ********
    • Weird how virtually everyone who worked in this administration has bad shit to say - and Trump repeatedly claims they're just bitter because they were fired.mathinc
    • Always the victim, always completely innocent, even though you just need to watch him for 10min and you can see he's completely unfit.mathinc
    • The job of being president, and the spirit of the office and democracy are two of the many things he is incapable of grasping.mathinc
    • The spirit of the office and democracy? wait, what?!!?Maaku
    • Not sure how that wasn't clear.. let me simplify: he doesn't respect the norms of the office, thinks laws don't apply to him and believes he is a king.mathinc
