- To be fair, they were already working with Google and Apple anyway.
The issue is privacy. The NHS want the data on a centralised database.monoboy - But they'll never have the capacity that Google or Apple have. So will have to go with trust.monoboy
- Given Google have just transferred all our data (UK) out of the EU (Ireland) because of Brexit. We're under US data protection laws.monoboy
- So no doubt it'll be used for more than just COVID-19 track and tracing at some point.monoboy
- The NHS handed over patient data to google en-masse recently too. And therefore to private companies.monoboy
- All part of the paid-for healthcare system that's on the way post December 2020.monoboy
