  iPad is a no-brainer for wifi only FaceTime - vid or voice. Easy set-up - just help them put the contact list together. I set my mom up with one so my kids can video chat with her

  • I wouldn’t use it as the sole form of contactGnash
  • Yeah, they do, and flip phones, which they love (us 'kids' can't bug them with texts, etc.), no one else uses Apple, thoughformed
  • We are all Mac so not sure about issues cross-platformGnash
