2.3 Million people live in Brooklyn.
Only 3000+ protesters (not all from Brooklyn, but most.)
Of those 3000, only a few are violent, looting or rioting.
Most want peace.We stand in solidarity against racist cops and a power structure that protects them at the cost of human dignity and even life. I recognize that people are angry, fed up, and are losing control. I understand the violent reaction but I don’t support it. I don’t think it will solve anything or bring us together. But I understand why some people feel they have nothing left to lose, so they rage and hope to find peace through violence.
May we all find peace.
