    GAH!
    been tinkering with Arduino all day learning about making buttons and knobs talk to midi devices..

    was having some success but the device I was controlling didn't really have any buttons.. so I decided to plug it into the Digitone..
    which was fine..
    then it stopped making sound

    then wouldn't reboot

    that deep deep sinking feeling of potentially frying $1200 device just for tinkering was awful.

    did a system test, ok.. did a factory restore, and eventually it came up..

    tldr .. I almost destroyed synth just to play with a Arduino kit
