    Oh dear - for the only second time in many years, the first of may is not a bank holiday in Britain - they’ve moved it to the 8th to coincide with the VE Day anniversary.

    No one informed the makers of my calendar this, so I’ve only just realised. Not sure I can be bothered going to work now
