Got fired last week. Cut off from the company software teat. Started a trial of Photoshop to update my portfolio. Trial ended two days ago but as long as I don't quit the app it continues to work. I'll eventually subscribe but now I'm curious... how long I can work without quitting this app. It's like a challenge. A month? Years?

    • BTW anyone hiring designers?

    • I run my machines for years, I've never ever shut them offrobotron3k
    • if you start a trial, keep the apps running for as long! Even if you close by mistake, open it again - you will have a "open one last time" popup, then repeat

    • also if you need to start a subscription, after the trial, go on adobe.com, login, you will have an "Offers" button in the top menu - click that for discounts

    • got the entire package for like 20/month now! down from 60!

    • Contact adobe through their online chat. Just ask if they can offer you a deal as you just got fired. 50% off and 3-months free should be standard offerGnash
    • Interesting... if I have a new job within 3 months, am I off the hook?

    • Really I can live without Adobe except for Lightroom. PS is basically included with Lightroom, so might just do the Photography plan.

    • Only other app I really love is InDesign. But $40/mo just to add InDesign feels like I'll live without it (while unemployed)

    • I think that would be for a 1 year commitment. But ask for the photo package discount — wanna get your portfolio together ‘cause your job got wuflu’dGnash
