My 87-year-old dad planned a family trip a year ago to Sicily from the States, beginning in mid-June, and is insisting the trip can take place as planned. I think he's nuts. He is engaging in magical thinking regarding whether it's safe to travel right now, but he's also not thinking in terms of whether restaurants, markets or the tourist spots he wants to visit will even be open.

    Which of us is sane?

    • It's not safe, but with 87 years, he prob. believes this is going to be his last oportunity to do this tripOBBTKN
