    So I'm back 100%

    found a repair shop that actually fixxed the imac today! ssd was fine, the logic board or something had a glitch tho'

    cost 200

    I had to get out of quarantine, take the imac into a cab, we were stopped by the police on the way, but the driver was cool and we made it without a ticket

    status: amazed and very grateful

    was interesting to browse QBN on a 10 years old MBPro and listen to ambient music for the weekend

    • @mono we're under strict quarantine, no going out unless for food, medicine or going to work (necessary work jobs only) until 15th maygrafician

    • just so you guys know: latest imacs have all the components glued in to the motherboard and can't be upgraded/fixed anymore like the old ones :/grafician
    • so if you can, get an old imac 2011-2012 that can be upgraded/fixed easily, just for backup, they can hold up to 32GB RAM and a SSD, with i5/i7 processorsgrafician
