    • They're preparing for the second one, prob. in Oct, here in EU. Health personnel have to finish their vacations before this date...OBBTKN
    • Don't think so, this is all we're gonna get. But staying inside during winter is way easier if we get hit a second wave

    • can't believe the real numbers in UK are not far off US.fadein11
    • The numbers here will be as 'real' as they can be, depending upon whatever criteria they're using, so as 'real' as many other country's claims.Nairn
    • I don't for one second think that numbers people in the NHS would be massaging figures - what would be the benefit to them?Nairn
    • As for mortalities in care homes and other off-reported domains, I'd presume that most countries are as equally inept at cataloguing figures in real timeNairn
    • Many other countries in Europe included those deaths. Our figures are likely double what have been reported. We will see. I am just following the Nationalfadein11
    • Office of Statistics information.fadein11
    • I certainly never implies NHS figures are being massaged. Indeed, ludicrous idea.fadein11
    • *impliedfadein11
    • So if the numbers here in the UK aren't real, who are you implying is misrepresenting them - the reporting body is broadly the NHS?Nairn
    • Our figures do not include deaths outside of hospital, other countries do. NHS figures are not wrong, total number of deaths are.fadein11
    • That being said US may not include those either. But our figures will likely be worst in Europe by end, if current trends continue.fadein11
    • Even the subserviant FT is reporting the same
