  White House Press Secretary later that day:
  "Leave it to the media to irresponsibly take President Trump out of context"

  Trump's response when asked to clarify his remarks:
  "I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen," Trump said.

  See guys, it was all a big secret joke he was playing on us JUST TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN.
