One of my son's friends was walking their dog by the house today and my wife was talking to her, she had said her dad, who was suffering from dementia and recently had a stroke is in a care home, tested positive for Covid 19.
He won't be going to a hospital, it's super sad.
He'd been a teacher and was actually retired when he started a family of 3 kids.
My wife's friend also works as a nurse in the home and she talks about how as the elderly are dying, she's finding the hardest part is not being able to comfort family members when they need it most.
