    Such a trying week if you're a leftist. The neo-liberals and the forces of capitalism consolidating themselves on both sides of the Atlantic. Keir Starmer in the UK, Joe Biden in the US. All these waves of counter-capitalism, mass movements on the left--we have all the numbers--; constantly subdued by statist forces-forces of money and power. First time I've ever considered entering politics this week.

    But first, I have to figure out how to get out of Japan... trapped :-/
