"According to data from the National Multifamily Housing Council and a consortium of real-estate data distributors, 69% of renters paid their landlords for April compared with 81% who paid for March. For an annual comparison, 82% of renters paid their landlords in April 2019."

So, an additional 13% of people didn't pay. This could get worse, as most people had April ready to go or could delay income tax or borrow.

Who cares about that though. I am more shocked to read that 82% of renter's paid their landlords on a typical month! Does that not seem strange to everyone? Are that many people not paying rent?!?! 18% of the country?

    • So many people are just one month away from being homeless. It's really expensive being poor. Folk always chasing their tails.PhanLo
    • That percentage is actually higher than I expected. I wonder what next months percentage will be?utopian
