My daily news blackout starts today. Keeping my phone off my person, getting focused on work. I know it’s bad everywhere. I know it’s bad in nyc where several of my coworkers and friends are. The only thing I can do is focus on myself and the impact of those choices to my surrounding community.
We are all a little microcosm of a bigger system and we can only control our own actions. Do things the right way, trust that others in the community are doing the same. By extension that can help every other city fighting this, by requiring less resources and medical help in my town.
