I read some dark predictions about India today.
1.5 billion people, very poor health system, poor hygiene, high levels of poverty, overcrowded cities, ghettos. Very late precautions taken by government(that vid about cops batting people is not true for everywhere in india). Millions of people flock back to their towns on top of each other and spread it everywhere.
India was also on the brink of a banking system collapse before the virus, and internal problems started thanks to President Modi(hindu vs muslim conflict). The central government is not as powerful as China, things can quickly escalate and get out of control. They might keep spreading the virus to neighbouring countries and further.Software industry, customer care and other stuff that the world relies on India for, will be disrupted for a very long period.
In summary world wont getter before India gets better they say.
- So why hasn’t it really spread in 3rd world countries then? If they don’t have testing possibilities then at least we’d see it by deaths. But it’s low too.NBQ00
- third world countries are immune bc of the heat.hotroddy
- If they’re really immune then why does India do a lockdown?NBQ00
- because numbers are climbing.uan
- and software is the least problem....india produces lots of the meds, specially vaccines and antibiotics for the planet.uan
- and we should start thinking about afrika. how can we effectively help there.uan
- Numerous African countries will get this bad. If the US has trouble testing, you can bet you’re ass many African countries are 100x worse.mg33
- Also, the “heat kills it” thing is not yet proven as with typical viruses.mg33
