This might be absolutely irrational, but I keep thinking “if getting this virus meant two weeks of hell before recovery and somehow developing an immunity to it, AND somehow helping doctors and scientists figure out treatments and cures, how many people would welcome it just to get it the hell over with.”

    • I am sure the older you are the less you feel like "getting it the hell over with"eryx
    • Yup, except it isn't two weeks of hell. It could be months of recovery for your lungs. Many people will never quite be the same.nb
    • there is no guarantee that you will become immune as it has mutated several times so far. Even if you are immune you can still spread it by touch, for example..Nutter
    • if you touch a door handle that isn't clean and then go to the coffee machine ect.Nutter
    • Only if it mutates in the time between touching those two things and survives. It hasn’t mutated several times.monospaced
