I had one as a kid, and it was the coolest experience, I was flying through clouds. Since then it happens very randomly maybe once every couple of years or so. As someone mentioned above, the time you are aware and then wake up is very short at least for me. So I saw this on a banner ad recently, they have these things that flashes a light. I saw a documentary once about this lab that they would use a machine that would give you a slight electrical pulse as well during sleep.
