    cinder + 1. it is not about AMD, it is all about 64bit. Think that you are going upgrade from 16bit windows 3.1 to windows 95. makes sense?
    btw, official 64bit windows hasn't been released, yet most of the applications in that platform still runs in 32bit mode. So it is only a passing period, we will see and possibily upgrade ourselves to the new 64bit in the near future.

    AMD has made the first step building 64bit supported chips, but it is early. We will see numerous movements soon.
