    Although all of this might seem overwhelming, the numbers are a little bit less bad when you break them down.

    So there are currently 228,020 known cases in the entire world. But out of those, almost half have already recovered.

    The current number of infected is 132,721. But out of those, the vast majority are not life-threatening.

    The current number of serious cases in the entire world: 6,941

    The vast majority of serious cases right now are in China, Italy, France, Spain and I'm assuming Iran (although Iran not reporting those numbers).

    Belgium is also reporting a lot of critical cases, currently ahead of the the USA.
