    nice one, i'll make one AMD one day.
    i just built mine last week : with a P4 3.0 ghz C and 1 gig of Corsair RAM 4000 , and an Asus 5950 ultra video card , motherboard asus as well P4P 800 deluxe , antec case..
    this machine runs perfect.. i'm so happy with it.. i can really feel the boost from the fast bus and the ram, also the HT proc does the work in the bvackground ..
    Direct X 9 games are incredibly fast and detailed : i've tried Max PAyne 2 again on this machine ... wow the textures are incredible.. i run it everything maxed out at 1600 / 1280... smooth

    for the proc cooling i've used a Zalman 7000 cu.. expensive but worth it.. i've overclocked the proc 'legally' to 3.4 ghz without any problems ;)

    question : what is your video card ? have you tried a direct x 9 game to see the lighting effects ? etc .?
