A couple of friends won a £300 food and bar tab in a quiz at their local pub. We'd been invited, along with two others, to partake in this bounty yesterday.
It was fucking cancelled, for obvious reasons.
They're probably not going to do it for a while now, by which time the pub will have likely gone out of business.
Bunch of fucker - a £50 bar tab would've made for a food Sunday afternoon.

Instead, I had a shifty cider as I walked my daughter around in the park, garnering entirely understandable dismissive looks from other parents. "Well THAT isn't behaviour befitting a Sunday afternoon in Crouch End, what".
