As we all already know, Tomas Pueyo analysed all the data of the COVID-19 and his conclusion is one reported case of COVID-19 is just the tip of the iceberg of real cases... For every documented case there's 27 undocumented cases.

So in the USA, the real number should be 101,898 infected instead of 3,774

    • Some countries aren't or can't test, so the figures reported are academic. The mortality rate is probably a better indication of the scale of infection.monoboy
    • But you'd need to take into account population age, healthcare systems, localised pollution, cultural stuff. Very hard to be accurate.monoboy
    • Plus the fact that we still don't full know the characteristics of the virus.monoboy
    • yeah its trueBennn
    • The UK will probably stop testing and reporting both infections and deaths soon.monoboy
    • The UK Gov policy of 'herd immunity' sounds like an attempt to keep our economy going and hope that it doesn't overwhelm our health service.monoboy
    • But the concept of 'immunity' through infection could be flawed and a massive punt. Some are already raising red flags.monoboy
    • But if the economically active can ride it out, you can see the logic.monoboy
    • Cold. Hard. Tory logic.monoboy
    • Most probably calamitous.monoboy
    • by 'some' are already raising red flags... you mean every expertkingsteven
    • Most but not all. There are some Drs that have bought into it.monoboy
    • The dude that ran the ebola response for the WHO said that every Gov should do everything or anything to try and stop spread.monoboy
    • I'm more inclined to believe him.monoboy
