Just got an email from work... a PhD student in my building is one of the two cases known in Belfast!... Luckily, i've been on strike for 2 weeks (and one more to go) but they wouldn't let our admin guy in to the office earlier... They're going to be testing folks that were in direct contact next week, if there's more positives I guess they'll have to close the place for a while!
I've been having a great time, climbing mountains and walking the coast with the dog. Went to the pub last night and there was barely any fucker there... and today flyBe (who operate 80% of flights from the airport half a mile from my house) went bust so there's not been a plane in the sky. Took a walk through town earlier and only spotted a couple of folks in masks and 3 of my hardened drinking buddies on the lash. I'm pretty sure it'll get old when the fever hits but right now these apocalyptic vibes are chill as fuck. Gonna do a big online shop here and in preparation for constructing the spruce moose from toilet roll and beans.
