The weirdest part of this election is that Biden leads the polls all year...dozens of candidates all give up...then his campaign collapses right when the voting begins.

    • the polls have always been a joke, never pay attention to polls ;-)Krassy
    • Seems like the final polls they did in Iowa and NH predicted the outcome accurately. They had Biden falling to 4th or 5th place.yuekit
    • And predicted Sanders would win, followed by Buttigieg and Klobuchar. So it wasn't out of nowhere, just weird that this big change happened at the last minute.yuekit
    • I think the Democrats are very indecisive. Except for the Sanders supporters, who are 100% behind their guy.yuekit

    • This time 4 years ago Sanders was also in the lead. These are not big states, and they are being made to be a lot more important than they really are.zarkonite
    • There is a critical difference this time though, Sanders has pulled into the lead nationally and leads in many of the biggest states (California etc)yuekit
    • Polls are almost always correct. Even with Hillary they were correct that she won the popular vote. It was the electoral mess that f'd everything up.formed
